Favorite Things Friday: DIY Jewelry Holders

A major pet peeve of mine is tangled up jewelry!

Anybody else?

I hate unwinding and undoing a glob of necklaces.

Or trying to find matching earrings.

Or just not being able to see all of my choices to know what matches with my clothes.

One of my lifesavers (or jewelry-savers, haha!) has been having a jewelry holder!

It really makes life easier having things up and organized instead of piled on my dresser.

Faith Value Projects & Activities

Did you read our most recent issue of Stand & Shine Magazine?

Included with an article on Faith was an entire layout with ideas for Value Projects

and Young Women Activities based on the value of Faith!

but here are a few of our favorites to share today:

  

Faith Value Projects

- Memorize The Living Christ 

- Create a work of art that shows how you feel about Jesus Christ

- Make the General Conference Journal and watch all sessions of conference,

taking notes and writing down your impressions

- Memorize all of the scripture mastery scriptures from seminary

Faith YW Activities

- Have a contest to see who can recite all 13 Articles of Faith

- "Faith is like a little seed..." learn about planting seeds and how to take care of them,

use Alma 32 to relate this to Faith. You can use our mini-greenhouse idea for easy planting!

- Work together to memorize hymns about Jesus Christ.

- Using the parable of the 10 virgins or D&C 33:17 as your focus,

make clay oil lamps together and learn how it relates to Faith.
