Take Luck - It's Friday the 13th!

Have you ever watch the comedian Brian Regan? 

Personally, we think he's Hilarious with a capital H. For real.

Well he has one sketch where he talks about mixing up the phrases "take care" and "good luck"

into "take luck!" and it is so funny! I was going to post a clip of it on here but I couldn't find one from an original sketch - but this Coca Cola commercial he did pretty much sums it up:

Nerd Alert - Studio C Season 4 Premiere

I know I've mentioned it here before, but I'm in LOVE with Studio C.

So in love that I bought the first two seasons for my hubby as a Christmas gift.

 

Ya know, one of those I-got-this-for-you-cause-I-actually-want-it gifts? Yup.

Insert evil laugh here: WHA HA HA.

 

And last night was the Season 4 premiere! Excellent!!!!!!!

 

I love this comedy because I myself am hilarious.

Just kidding. I was trying to be funny right there, did you catch that?
 

Really though, I like it because it's great humor yet clean.

You can watch it with your Grandma (though she might not get it, haha) and not feel awkward.

And I'm all about supporting things that are uplifting and fun without swearing or telling crude jokes.

Hey Girl, Are You Ready For Sunday?

You know that Primary song, "Saturday is a special day, it's the day we get ready for Sunday...." ??? I've always liked it because for me it's very true. Saturday is the day to clean up, clean out, and get my house and my mind ready for the Sabbath.

And apparently Saturday's are also used to meet this handsome guy:

Haha! I couldn't help but share that, it's just too funny! I don't know who made up all these "Hey Girl" sayings but they're awesome.

But back to the point, here are some ideas of things you can do on Saturday to be ready for a spiritual Sabbath Day:

• Complete all of your homework
• Do your laundry
• Finish up any chores you have
• Wash your windows...it will make your room shine!
• Listen to happy music, doesn't have to be church music but at least something uplifting
• Read about the lesson or topic you'll have in YW tomorrow
• Go to bed at a decent hour so you don't fall asleep in church
• Help your parents with things they need done around the house or yard
• Clean up any clutter or piles in your room
• Make your bed
• Plan your outfit for tomorrow, we know that decision can take some time!
