Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

For those of you living in America, today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!
He was one of the key leaders in the Civil Rights Movement and changed the course racial equality in America. You can find more info about him here if you're interested! 



To commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday on January 15th, the holiday is celebrated the 3rd Monday of January each year. (Find out more about the holiday came to be here.)

Many use today as a day to continue his work of service and peace - he loved and served and worked to build a better quality of life for everyone.




Martin Luther King, Jr. is an incredible example of standing for your beliefs
and to make change happen for the good of those around you.

We encourage you to learn a little more about him today and think about how YOU
can create good around you!
